I actually dont run Rez Sig in 1 of my CA builds some of the time.

I'm not annoyed by anything. I can get bored and be the guy you hate sometimes lol. I've never ran around the arena, but i've done some stupid stuff. Spamming BiP in the middle of being attacked FTW! (necros get hit first 99% fo the time anyway).

Things I don't like in CA:
1a. When I'm the only one attacking the monk
1b. Warriors who attack warriors first
1c. When I'm playing ranger and there's 3 casters on my team but everyone attacks me first

2. People who say "HEAL ME MONK" (even if I'm not the monk)
3. When I get a half-way decent team, we win a bunch of matches, then face a team with a runner
4a. Trappers who say "Stay here and I'll trap"
4b. Trappers that run when they're the last ones standing

Things I like in CA:
1. Experimenting with wacky builds
2. Meeting new people
3a. Facing a wacky and cool build
3b. Getting owned by a wacky and cool build
3c. Getting ideas from a wacky and cool build you faced
4. Close matches (especially when you win them)
5. People who say GG, especially when it was a GG
6. People that die with honor, and people that win with grace

On topic, as much as i love to interupt spells, I really hate being interupted to death.

I hate when people start insulting each other before the match even start.

I hate people spamming what they do more than once. I was with this warrior earlier who was spamming target over 15 time while we were all attacking it already. Then when he died he started to spam he was dead.

I hate when someone go off exploring the arena.

I love flawless victory^^

hmm ok

i like vim trapping in CA...can solo most groups there..so no need for res sig

i like running in CA..to show those them noobs to bring a snare ( omg! lame runner!!!!11 ( bring a snare ffs ))

and i always yell NOOB just before i leave ( i never leave before we died though )

So many people only hate mending because the next guy says so. There is nothing wrong with it.

If you dont like fighting people with it, then you are a complete dumb@$$. There ARE (yes i know, hard to beleive) skills that remove enchantments!!

Its no different from someone spamming Healing Breeze. Except that HB is +7-8 regeneration. Thats nothing compared to the +2 or +3 of mending. so get over it already.

I hate people who leave as soon as i use my res sig on them.
I hate when people yell at me for not bringing a res sig as a monk.
^^Any case where a monk usually needs to res, usually means he/she
cant heal well enough to keep everyone else from dying.

I hate when teammates leave prior to starting a round as opposed to in between rounds before the countdown runs out. If they left before the countdown, then at least someone new could come in and take their place. Since they leave prior to the start of a round, they gimp your team putting it a man down which almost always means end of winning streak.

I also hate it when the sole survivor knows he's beat and continues to run away doing nothing in the process. Accept defeat gracefully and stop wasting people's time. Running in the middle of battle is alright and I even use this strategy myself as a monk. I run around in circles throwing a few quick heals occassionally while the other team's warriors try to chase me, basically doing nothing but wasting time while my team takes them down one by one.

It's also frustrating when your teammates don't listen and waste 10 minutes in a statemate mostly because they don't focus fire on one opponent.

Speaking as a monk, I hate it when a lone teammate charges the other monk leaving himself in a defenseless position and I can't run to save him. If you want healing from the monk, stay reasonably close to the monk and don't run away from him when you need healing. This is because the monk is already trying to save his own hide and can't run halfway across the battlefield to save you. I can try to keep the team alive when they are together, but not when everyone is off doing their own thing.

Quoted for truth! This applies to everything in GW - PvE and PvP. If you want to leeroy, don't expect heals from me ;D

When people run the other way (from heals)

Trust me, monks see your hp - it's what we do: heal you. But there's other people to heal, and you're not the only one losing hp, so shut up and kill stuff. And if you're dying, either run towards me or just die because GW doesn't allow me to heal 3 aggro bubbles away

I'm guilty of trying a solo monk farm build in the CA one time, but I was just curious .....

I won the first match too, but because I wasn't getting targeted in the 2nd match I had no energy to do anything after my enchantments went up.......damn noobs not targeting a monk 1st!!!!

I was testing a W/N..the other team had a lvl 11 monk/war using a sword, I was attacking their healer. He hit me once, only once, then the other war eviscerated me, and the dumb monk is like "Lawl you got owned by a lvl 11! dude yuo suck!". Thats one of the most stupid things I've heard in CA.

Things i hate:
When i get frustrated and start insulting people that can blind.
When im getting stared at because im using a sword as a ranger.
When people start yelling noobs when they lost.
When whoever starts running away.
When a trapper tries to trap me while im fighting his friends.
When a ranger shoots at me i fight him he runs i leave him he comes back and repeats the ritual.
When monks survive by running away.
Things i like:
Monks that smite.
Making a last stand and win while outnumbered.
Making a last stand and lose while outnumbered.
People that dance on corpses.
Fighting with the santa build i made for christmas (a gray haired ranger in red frostbound with santa hat and a candy cane sword with a cookie shield)
People that say dont worry my build can solo them and die.

Runners
Peple who use mending. Honestly. It heals incidental damage only, it's not going to save your effing life, so why neuter your mana pool for it?

Nothing else need be said really. It's like a childs book when I go to CA or TA. See Morons Run, Run Morons Run. See Morons Leave, Leave Morons Leave. See Morons Trash Talk, Go Morons! Quick PvP in this game is dead, I don't know why people even bother. If you want a bunch of easy wins, make an obvious TA build with 2 monks, 1 shutdown, 1 heavy damage dealer. No point in CA anymore, the districts before entering a full of preachers which is kind of weird, and there are a majority of idiots inside playing. The most god awful thing I have seen in CA and have yet to go back since, is something called a "faction bot". It is a R/N character that places EoE at the start of the match and then BiP's to death. However the bot functions by repeatedly entering mission and performing those actions. Why? Because of the random kills the bots team gets, thus gaining the runner of the bot faction. Someone clued me into what this was after I yelled fruitlessly at the character the entire match. That person defended the use of these bots, saying that this guy accomplished in a few hours of watching t.v. what it took me several hours of straight playing to do. I was dumbfounded and have yet to go back to CA. I hope Anet burns it to the ground and comes up with some way to keep it a reliably fun source of fast PvP.

You forgot one of the essentials when playing your W/Mo:

Don't bring a res signet - they're a waste of time since you can only use them once! Restore Life on the other hand can be used over and over.

Or even better...Rebirth! That way your fallen allies will be teleported right next to you and can feel safe because you and your fiery dragon sword are right there to protect them.
